2019 Inc 5000 List Honoree

NEW YORK – Inc. magazine revealed today that Richmond-based NSTO (the parent company of retailers Need Supply Co. and Totokaelo) is No. 1711 on its annual Inc. 5000 list, the most prestigious ranking of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies. 

NSTO’s revenue grew more than 238% percent between 2015 and 2018. This marks the second time the local company has been honored on the list; individually, Need Supply Co. was named No. 723 in 2013. 

Started in 1982, this list has become the hallmark of entrepreneurial success and represents a unique look at the most successful companies within the American economy’s most dynamic segment—its independent small businesses.

According to Inc., NSTO ranked #100 in Virginia, #87 among honorees in the Retail field, and #16 in the Richmond metro area.
